Autisk is a constituted support community group offering social groups, workshops, advice and signposting to families who have children with additional needs.

No diagnosis is needed to join our groups as we are very aware that it is hard on the pathway to diagnosis.We have a fully functional sensory room that can be accessed for free via our social groups.

We welcome families from all areas of Stockport and surrounding areas, and offer support for all families who are dealing with all disabilities within Stockport area that include autism / adhd / learning disabilities / anxiety / cerebral palsy

Why the collab?

Autisk is a charity that means the world to me. Without their support, I wouldn’t have the precious opportunity to spend quality time each month with my other children, doing activities that wouldn’t be accessible with AJ (my son… read about us here)

Because of his sensory needs, certain places and activities can be overwhelming for him. Autisk provides a safe, consistent environment where he feels comfortable, with familiar staff, engaging toys and activities, a sensory room, and plenty of space to run around. Their sessions are truly invaluable to families like mine. So when the chance came to give something back to Autisk for everything they do for others, I didn’t hesitate!
