Hello! Nice to meet you
I’m Charlie, a Mum of 3 from Manchester, UK.
My son AJ, is autistic non-speaking, with PDA profile, sensory processing delay and ARFID.
We embarked on our journey “officially” in December 2021 when my little guy was diagnosed, and we’ve been winging it ever since!
In April 2024, I took a leap and created Neurospicy;
a brand born out of a deep need to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around Autism, and everything that comes along with it.
I wanted to create something different. Something bold. Something that didn’t rely on the usual autism awareness clichés - no rainbow colours, jigsaw pieces, or infinity symbols. Just real, eye-catching designs that I’d actually want to wear myself. Designs that make people stop, look, and read your hoodie or T-shirt. Pieces that spark conversation, create connection, and most importantly - raise awareness.

Why? Because of my son..
To make the stares and the tuts in public a little less frequent when he’s in crisis and can’t calm down. To help people understand why he won’t respond when someone gets too close expecting him to talk. Why he might not make eye contact, play with other kids at the park, or sit at a party table like everyone else.
And you know what? That’s okay.
It doesn’t mean he should be left out. In fact, it means the opposite. Sometimes, a few simple adaptations are all it takes to make sure he - and others like him - are included. If people just took the time to learn, to ask, or to try.
What started as an autism awareness brand has now grown into so much more. Neurospicy Apparel is a disability awareness brand.
A brand that advocates loudly for everyone, no matter their disability. A brand that exists to amplify the voices that need to be heard. Because all too often, the lack of awareness, empathy, and understanding is shocking - and quite frankly, it’s not good enough.
We’re here to change that…. One design at a time.
